Research funding management and financial accountability policy (FM5405)

In October 2016, the Board of Governors approved the research funding management and financial accountability policy. This policy outlines the researcher’s responsibilities in regards to their research account(s) and the steps that need to be taken in the event of an unanticipated over-commitment or over-expenditure. The wording and provisions in the policy are a result of extensive input and consultation with members of the Campus community as well as the Faculty Association over the last three years.

The over-expenditure/over-commitment approval form is used in order to request the approval of an over-expenditure or over-commitment on account.

There is a list of frequently asked questions in regards to the policy. Please contact Melissa Joyce if you have any questions that you would like added to this list.
