How to complete Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) forms
Your application to the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) can be initiated immediately upon approval of your appointment by the vice-president academic and provost. Please visit the PNP website and review the information and forms provided.Section 1 - PNP forms
The university pays the $550 fee so please ignore the fee payment form. The university also completes the guaranteed job offer form.
Section 2 - Employment information
If you are already working in Canada, a copy of your work permit must be included. Attach copies of all degree certificates. The university completes the remaining required documents in Section 2.
Section 3 - Citizenship and Immigration Canada forms
This section covers the federal government forms you need to complete. Do not submit originals - the university needs only copies of these materials. The necessary forms can be downloaded from the CIC website. UVic will require copies of all the personal documents needed for your application. If you have a spouse/partner and children please take note of the forms you need to complete for them.
The university works with the provincial government program to get your initial work permit quickly and to speed up the process of getting permanent resident status. Once your nomination is accepted by PNP, they will send you the documents to apply for the work permit and you can proceed with application for permanent residency
