Framework Agreement

The Framework Agreement is the legal employment contract between the University of Victoria Faculty Association and the University of Victoria. The agreement provides information and deadlines on all aspects of career progression at UVic for those appointed as assistant, associate and full professors, senior instructors, teaching professors, limited term appointments, artists-in-residence, lecturers, librarians, and academic administrators.

The Framework Agreement language has been amended as a result of negotiations and mediation between the University and the Faculty Association during 2012. The language changes have recently been ratified by the Faculty Association. The Framework Agreement, as amended, is in effect July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014. The revised Framework Agreement will be posted on the VPAC website soon. In the meantime, all of the revised Articles (with tracked changes) are posted here:
