About VPAC

The Office of the Vice-President Academic and Provost (VPAC) is responsible for managing almost 80 per cent of the annual operating budget of the university and leading UVic's integrated planning process.

Positions reporting to the vice-president include twelve deans, the university librarian and the director of international affairs.

Through four associate vice-presidents, the portfolio includes responsibility for:

• Office of the Registrar
• Enrolment Services
• Student Services
• Campus Services
• Athletics and Recreation
• Office of Indigenous Affairs
• Co-operative Education and Career Services
• Institutional Planning and Analysis
• Learning and Teaching Centre
• International Activities

In addition, the adviser to the Director, Academic Leadership Initiatives and Adviser to the Provost on Equity and Diversity and the Director, Administration and Faculty Human Resources provide specialized support to the office.
