The University of Victoria has a number of committees and entities that exist to aid in the successful operation of the university.

  • The Planning and Priorities Committee is advisory to the president and is involved with strategic planning regarding priorities and resource allocations for academic and non-academic university programs.
  • The University Review Committee provides an avenue of appeal under the University of Victoria Framework Agreement regarding salary, reappointment, tenure, promotion, study leave or development term decisions.
  • Foundations exist to receive and manage financial and property gifts made to the university.
