UVISION
The University of Victoria Information Security Intelligence and Operations Network (UVISION) exists:
- to build a community for sharing sensitive information regarding information security threat, incidents, response, and protection within the university;
- to build relationships among system administrators, developers, support staff, and subject matter experts across campus; and
- to support the work of the UVic Information Security Team.
In order to build trust within the UVISION membership, participation will be limited to select individuals, and strict information sharing guidelines will apply.
Membership in UVISION is limited to only approved/trusted individuals. In most cases, a unit will have only one representative as a member. Members will generally have unit-wide responsibilities for information security; that is, the individual must represent security for the unit. Membership will be approved by the Information Security Office.
