Audio Visual Services

AV staff provide on-campus technical assistance and equipment maintenance. AV staff can deliver, set-up, and demonstrate a variety of equipment for in-class use, special events, and conferences.

Computer Help Desk

The Computer Help Desk provides all clients of the University with a single point of contact to receive assistance with services provided by University Systems.

Desktop Support Services

Desktop Support Services is contracted by departments to provide on-site desktop support to faculty and staff.

Learning Systems supports teaching and learning through the development and use of instructional technologies. Learning Systems provides support for Blackboard, iClicker, MailMan, Moodle, and Turnitin.

Media Services

Media Services staff are able to provide UVic employees with assistance and services for recording lectures and connecting to remote sites through their video conferencing facilities.

Student Computing Facilities

UVic's Student Computing Facilities provide computing resources and assistance to UVic students, staff, and faculty with four computing facilities on campus.

Technician Services

UVic Computing Technicians are vendor trained in Apple and Lexmark Printers, Apple and IBM Computers, and various other consumer and commercial audio visual products.
