Mission and goals
Our mission is to improve quality of life on campus and in the community by ensuring that sustainability is an integral part of campus planning and operations, and to play a role in facilitating the advancement of sustainability in teaching, research and community partnerships.Who we are
The Office of Campus Planning & Sustainability acts as coordinator and resource for students, staff, faculty and administration working towards shared goals of environmental sustainability at the University of Victoria. Working under the VP of Finance and Operations, the office works closely with other departments on campus to ensure the university is a leader and role model of environmental sustainability.

Sustainability Advisory Committee
The UVic Sustainability Advisory Committee (SAC) is comprised of a broad representation of administrators, staff, students and faculty from all across the campus. The SAC's purpose is the assist the Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability with the implementation of the Sustainability Action Plan for Campus Operations (2009-2014).
