CRD Sewage Treatment Debate Continues
The debate over the environmental merits of secondary sewage treatment in the CRD continues with the recent announcement of federal and provincial funding ($253 million each). In an editorial by David Anderson, former Victoria MP and federal Minister of the Environment, he argues that various UVic experts in the fields of oceanography, marine biology and engineering have determined there are "no net environmental benefits" from the project.
