One in four UVic students take part in the extremely popular Co-operative Education Program, which helps them:

  • alternate academic terms with work terms
  • graduate with up to one year of work experience in the real world,
  • gain a network of valuable contacts
  • develop competencies to wow employers
  • reflect on their learning to find a career that matches their goals

co-op feature: Robin ParharRobin Parhar did her work term with a Real Estate and Property Management company in Duncan and was able to gain great insights into this industry. She learned that bringing enthusiasm and willingness each day to her job (which came naturally for her anyway), were qualities that were highly valued by her employer and resulted in her exceeding their expectations.
