Counselling Services

Counselling Services offers free confidential counselling to currently enrolled degree program University of Victoria students.

Our team of counsellors and staff serve the UVic community by offering individual and group counselling to students who are currently enrolled in degree programs at UVic.

Our counselling and support services help students address personal, career and learning concerns, in order to increase student engagement and success.

========

Counselling Services will close on August 18, 2015 to undergo a large renovation project in order to create a more welcoming space for students as well as the campus community. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer regular counselling appontments during this time.  However, we will be answering phone calls for booking or cancelling future appointments as well as for general inquiries.

Note: On August 19th, the staff will be attending a Team Retreat Day. We will not be answering phone calls on that day. We will return calls the next day.

If you are in need of urgent assistance during the renovation project, the following services are available:

  • UVic Health Services at 250-721-8492
  • Campus Security at 250-721-7599
  • Vancouver Island Crisis Line at 1-888-494-3888

Completion of this project is scheduled for August 28, 2015 with full operation of our services resuming (including daily walk-in appointments for students from 1:00pm - 3:00pm) on Monday, August 31.
