Community activities

Cafe Scientifique is a seminar series hosted by the Faculty of Science in the evening in local cafes.  There is also a seminar series more focused on heath offered by the Centre for Biomedical Research. 

Let's Talk Science provides science outreach to children and youth, in classrooms and the community. Many science graduate students volunteer in this program and bring their expertise to your classroom or community gathering.

Telescope tours and weekly newsletters will give you a good sense of what going on in physics and astronomy at UVic.

The UVic Speakers Bureau provides a wide list of topics that our student, staff and faculty experts will present to your group.
