Statistics consulting centre

The Statistical consulting centre at the University of Victoria is the unit through which the Department of Mathematics & Statistics provides statistical advice to those working on research problems.

The faculty and staff associated with the Statistical Consulting Centre will be pleased to help with the:

• design of experiments, surveys, and other studies before data are collected
• development of suitable databases after data collection
• selection of use of suitable statistical software
• analysis and presentation of data
• preparation of grant applications including sample size calculations and budget estimates for statistical consultation
• clarification of the statistical content of articles in subject areas of interest

The Fee structure for the Statistical Consulting Centre at the University of Victoria:

Internal clients:	University of Victoria staff, faculty and students $75/hour
External clients:	$100/hour or negotiable contract rates for projects
Long-term clients:	Long-term contract rates available
