This group of more than 800 researchers was awarded more than $98 million in external research grants and contracts in 2009/10, triple the amount ten years ago--making UVic one of Canada’s premier research-intensive universities with faculty who are committed to building ideas, innovations and expertise with research partners (and then making sure that these findings are useful and accessible to those who can use them).
