Research Description

I am a Paleolithic archaeologist. I study human evolution. Specifically, I specialize in Neanderthals, stone tools, and the evolution of human cognition, language and the origins of art and music.

Interdisciplinary Research

My work in Jordan relies upon the expertise of a number of colleagues in different areas of research (geography, geology, archaeological chemistry, human skeletal biology, etc.)
