Tea Time & Friday Munch

Tea TimeJoanna Mair and C. Seelos enjoying good conversation at our weekly Tea Time.

Tea Time is a great way of connecting researchers and community members. We provide a comfortable and welcoming forum in which to discuss matters pertaining to local, regional, and global economics. It is a colloquial assembly of students, faculty and community members who engage in a very comprehensive and provocative exchange of ideas about current community events and conditions. Whether it's current trends in co-operative economics, the state of food distribution, or current research that's being undertaken, there's always something interesting to talk about.

Depending on the time of year, CCCBE hosts either Tea Time or the Friday Munch. Starting September 9, 2011, a light lunch will be served during the Friday Munch from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Often people come away with a very different understanding of how co-operatives and community-based organizations more effectively meet contemporary economic and social needs. Join us for refreshments, food, and great dialogue.
