The CCCBE hosts and participates in various seminars, workshops, and conferences with other academic units, research centres, governments, community organizations, and co-operatives. These events serve to disseminate understandings and practices of the co-operative and community-based economic model and how they function within different environments. They help us to critically think about alternative economic models and how they can be utilized to meet contemporary needs—economic and social—and how they can empower people and communities.
