Become an affiliate

Our affiliates have expertise in measurement and design of studies evaluating change and impact of lifespan experience, exposures, and interventions on social, psychological, biological, and physical outcomes or functioning. They are engaged in many local, national and international research initiatives.

We welcome you to apply to become an affiliate of the Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health. You will find specific application forms within each affiliate category below. Applications are considered at our Advisory Board meetings.

UVic research affiliate: faculty

UVic faculty members with a focus on aging are welcome to become research affiliates of the Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health. Our Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health research affiliates support and actively participate in the institute's activities and events.

As a research affiliate, you can negotiate access to support for project development, activities, and knowledge mobilization, as well as ongoing research support from IALH-trained personnel on a cost-recovery basis.
