We are looking for children, aged 10-16 years to participate in an engaging, 12-week exercise program (30 minutes per session, 3 times/week), based around fun computer games and stationary bikes. This is part of a study aimed at examining the impact of an aerobic exercise intervention on learning, memory, mood, behaviour in children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
The 2nd annual CIHR Brain Bee Victoria will take place on May 11th from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Division of Medical Sciences building. Students will be given a written exam as well as two oral rounds of questions to test their knowledge of neuroscience and their skills at patient diagnosis and neuroanatomy...winner is the last contestant standing.
Top high school students from across Canada will be at McMaster University to compete for the right to be called "best brain in Canada". The first place champion will then represent Canada at the International Championship in Vienna Austria in September 2013.
