I am currently the subject librarian for Biochemistry & Microbiology, Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics & Statistics I am also the librarian responsible for the Institutional Repository - UVicSpace.

I have been the Science and Engineering Librarian at UVic Libraries since 1990. I received a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Genetics) from the University of Alberta in 1977 and a Master of Library Science from the University of British Columbia in 1985. My first professional position was as a Cataloguing Librarian at the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI) at the National Research Council of Canada in 1985.

At the UVic Libraries, along with my subject librarian responsibilities, I have also held positions as the Interlibrary Loan Librarian, Acting Head of Reference Services and Reference Coordinator. Since 2004 I have also had responsibility for development of the Institutional Repository, UVicSpace.
