I am the Government Publications Librarian and liaison librarian for Political Science, European Studies, and Women's Studies. Various subject Guides for these areas are available on the LIbrary website, for example Government Publications Canada and Political Science .
I oversee various depository programs including the Government of Canada, European Commission, and the Asian Development Bank. I also am responsible for the Libraries collection of policy and legislative documents (or e-documents) from governments and international integovernmental organizations.
I have worked in academic libraries since 1988. I hold a M.L.S. from the University of Alberta. I spent eight years at the Weir Law Library at the University of Alberta. In 1997 I joined the University of Victoria as the Associate Law Librarian at the Priestly Law Library. I added Government Publications to my subjects in 2005. I moved to the McPherson Library in 2009 to become the Government Publications Librarian, and the liaison librarian for Political Science and European Studies. I since added Women's Studies to my liaison areas.
Other duties I have in the Library include working with Summon, SFX, Voyager ILS and catalogue, and liaison librarian activities for the Microforms collections.
