MA in Community Development

Delivery method

The Master of Arts in Community Development (MACD) is delivered through a combination of online and two mandatory residential workshops at the University of Victoria.

How our online courses work
We use the Moodle Learning Management system to deliver our online courses. Using Moodle, you will:

  • review your course notes
  • join discussion forums
  • submit your assignments
  • keep track of your grades
  • link to online readings

Here is an example of what you might see on a typical Moodle course homepage:

For some courses, you might meet fellow students online for a seminar or discussion.
