The BC Centre for Non Profit Management and Sustainability
In partnership with the BC Centre for Non Profit Managament and Sustainability (BCCNPMS) CPSS jointly hosted the Roundtable on Government and Non Profit Relations. The event brought together over eighty-five leaders from BC's non profit sector and the provincial government. Participants explored the strengths and challenges of the relationship between the non profit sector and the government and discussed ways of enhancing this relationship to the benefit of BC's citizens.
The BCCNPMS supports non profit organizations to manage and govern themselves through the provision of consultations, training, and resource materials. Other BCCNPMS initiatives include:
- Helping the Helper: workshop series, sponsored by Coast Capital Savings
- Voluntary Sector Knowledge Network: interactive on-line resource for leaders of non-profit organizations
