Alumni events are a great way to personally reconnect with former classmates, meet new people and catch up with the latest ideas in public administration.

Speed Coaching Event
Thursday May 17th from 5:30-7:30 pm
The Local Bar & Grill, 1205 Wharf Street, Victoria
Meet and socialize with alumni in a relaxed environment. Appetizers will be provided.
Current graduate students in the Public Administration, Dispute Resolution and Community Development programs.
The Speed Coaching event is free, but space is limited to 12 student participants, so register early by sending an email to: spagrad@uvic.ca.

The Victoria Branch of the National Association of Federal Retirees has created a $25,000 endowment that will fund a scholarship for a School of Public Administration graduate student who plans a career in the public serve.  Read the article here.  (Article is at the bottom of the page)

MADR student Sarah Daitch has been named an Action Canada fellow for 2013-14. During this year, she will take part in the AC leadership development and public policy program with only sixteen others from across Canada.  Read more.
