Advanced Practice Leadership option

Are you interested in becoming a leader in nursing and the health care system?

The goals of the Advanced Practice Leadership (APL) option are to prepare nurses with a dual focus on advanced practice and nursing leadership to fill roles in primary care, acute care, and/or community care. The Master of Nursing - Advanced Practice Leadership option is practice-oriented and theory-based, intended to prepare nurses as clinical nurse specialists for a wide variety of advanced practice roles.

Customize your learning

You'll identify your own area of practice, population, or phenomena of interest, and develop in-depth knowledge relevant to that area throughout the program. You'll explore the relationship between nursing knowledge and practice with specific populations and in various contexts.
