School of Nursing Graduates

We offer several options for your future:

  • Advanced Practice Leadership graduates are prepared to influence nursing practice and patient care in a variety of leadership roles including Clinical Nurse Leaders, Nurse Managers, and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
  • Nurse Practitioner graduates are providing primary health care in innovative ways throughout BC, often meeting the needs of marginalized and underserved populations.
  • Nurse Educator graduates are meeting the educational needs of nurses in clinical, academic and inter-sectoral health settings.
  • Double Degree: Master of Nursing and Master of Health Informatics graduates are hired as leaders with knowledge of technology within health care delivery.
  • PhD Program graduates are nurse scholars contributing to nursing disciplinary knowledge in research, teaching, practice and administration.

UVic NURS 425 (Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis) or an equivalent data analysis or introductory statistics course, within five years, with a grade of B or above is required prior to admission.
