Integrative

integrative

At the Gustavson School of Business we believe that business issues and business problems are interrelated," says Mia Maki, senior instructor of entrepreneurship.

"We have developed an integrative approach to help our students gain a deep understanding of the fundamental areas of business combined with an awareness of how these areas interact with one another. Our goal is to ensure our graduates can think across disciplines not just within a discipline. Our specialization areas are examples of this approach. Students gain the basic skills such as marketing, finance, human resource management, information technology, etc. in their core subject areas then learn a particular expertise and how to put it all together during their specialization term."
