UVic among top-ranked universities worldwide under age 50

The University of Victoria is among the top 20 universities in the world under the age of 50 and first in Canada in the Times Higher Education’s 100-under-50 rankings released today.
Each university’s standing was determined by 13 objective performance indicators including research, citations (research influence), teaching, international outlook and industry income.
UVic placed first in Canada for the second consecutive year, fifth in North America and 20th worldwide.
