Gustavson School of Business Introduces New Advisory Body

Some fresh business brains with an international focus are now offering their best counsel to the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria.
This new advisory body is chaired by Matthew Hall, a former CEO of food giant Nestle, currently with London-based consulting firm GoodBrand, and Executive-in-Residence at Gustavson.
“The calibre of talent and business savvy brought together by this new International Advisory Board will help us achieve our vision to be seen as a global leader in our areas of expertise. The school’s faculty and staff give their all to making students job and world-ready, and this group is there to help us show the world what they can do,” said Gustavson Dean Saul Klein.
“We have had our initial meeting already, and the commitment from the board members to help the school is exceptional,” said Hall. “I’m pleased that Gustavson chose to build on the demonstrated successes of its local business associates with contributors of a more international leaning. This group will help the school grow its international reputation and presence.”
The 12-member board is composed of international business executives and educators with connections to Canada (Kenzie Kwong, Jawahar Vadivelu, Narasimhan Narayanan, Jeffrey Harris, John Jarvis, Mansour Javidan) and Canadian business people who work internationally (Blair Hagkull, Fred Speckeen, Sage Baker, Bjorn Moller, Peter Kibiuk, Allan Gilchrist). In addition to Saul Klein, the Dean of the School, Gustavson members are Ali Dastmalchian, AR Elangovan and Pat Elemans.
