Business strategy at work at Gustavson

Strategy

The Gustavson School of Business prides itself on embracing change. It is dedicated to providing a non-traditional business education and a dynamic learning environment that develops principled managers and leaders who can drive innovation and social change.

To achieve its vision and promise, the Gustavson School of Business produces a vision document entitled Our Promise that synthesizes key initiatives and priorities. It has also added to its strategic vision by developing a one-page strategy and planning documents.

Alumni making a difference

Bryan Stevenson, BCOM '02,  and two partners started ElectricEdge Systems Group Inc. In early 2010, the company launched a unique communication and data collection platform for use in the global commercial fishing industry with a focus on supporting sustainable fishing. This platform is rapidly expanding and is in use in BC as well as the Northeast US.
