Our MBA offers complete immersion in sustainable innovation—it’s in everything we do. We're here to challenge traditional modes of thinking, and to help you navigate complex challenges from economic, social and environmental perspectives. Sustainable innovation & social responsibility

Sustainability and innovation are requirements in business, and we believe it should be required in an MBA.

  • all courses include sustainability content
  • the Gustavson School of Business has been carbon neutral since 2016
  • the Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation was founded in 2011 to integrate sustainability throughout the school’s teaching and research
  • our faculty are active researchers and bring their expertise to the classroom

Hands-on learning

Capstone consulting projects
Work with an organization to solve a real challenge for their business.

Course content
Learn from case studies, simulations and applied exercises in the classroom.

Case competitions
Tackle business cases and compete with your teammates at business case competitions around the world.

International experience
Travel and learn from some of the world's most innovative social and sustainable businesses.

Two delivery formats

The MBA in Sustainable Innovation is delivered in 2 formats: Daytime (on-campus immersive) and Weekend (for working professionals).

Daytime 16 months In-class / full-time
Weekend 24 months In-class / 1 weekend per month

Both formats start in September with an on-campus orientation.
