Richard is senior director responsible for the Business Management and Technology Unit at the Division of Continuing Studies at the University of Victoria.  He has previously been a management consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

His previous academic appointments include: Professor and Director of the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario; Professor and Founding Director of the Business School at Royal Roads University; Professor and Director at the Faculty of Business and Professor in Public Administration at the University of Victoria.  

His special areas of interest are strategic management and managerial finance and control. Richard’s expertise in executive and management development and as an entrepreneurial businessman has made him a sought after management consultant and a member of a number of boards of directors and advisory committees.
