In August 2009, Dr. Richard Wolfe returned to teach UVic Business students about business strategy. As a former football player and coach, he uses sports as a lens through which he studies and teaches corporate strategy, innovation, and leadership.
From 2001 to 2007 he served as the director of the Sport Management Masters Program at the University of Michigan, and from 2001 to 2007, he was the director of the Michigan Centre for Sport Management also at the University of Michigan. Prior to that, he taught in the Leisure and Sport Management Program at UBC, School of Human Kinetics; Western Kentucky University College of Business; UVic, and the University of Alberta.
Richard was drawn back to Victoria because of the beauty and very agreeable lifestyle, and because of the innovative nature of UVic Business. He shares his passion for management and sports with his wife, cat and two dogs.
