Background
 

Bev provides career development and mentoring assistance to students enrolled in the Gustavson School of Business, both during their studies, at graduation and beyond. This includes activities such as seminar delivery and one on one work in career planning, resume writing and interview preparation.  In addition, she is involved in curriculum, resource and service development for the integrated Gustavson School of Business Co-op and Career Centre. 

Prior to coming to the University of Victoria, Bev worked for over 20 years as a career consultant and Human Resources Generalist in the public and private sector. She brings with her extensive experience and knowledge in the career management field and a thorough understanding of training and development issues and human resources practices.

Her career has most recently included work as a Senior Consultant/Associate with Knightsbridge (formerly KPMG) a national consulting firm in Career Management, as a Hiring Advisor with the Provincial Government and as a Training and Organizational Development Consultant with Vancouver Public Library. She holds a BA (Psychology) and Personnel Certificate from the University of Calgary and a Trainer Development Certificate from the Justice Institute of BC.
