As a Gustavson School of Business co-op coordinator, Vivian develops relationships with employers to facilitate work experience opportunities for students both locally and internationally. Vivian works closely with students to understand their expectations and objectives for each work term. In addition, she conducts work site visits and evaluates work-term experiences through the final evaluations and work-term reports.

Vivian’s background includes owning her own consulting business, which involved contracts for career development workshops, life skills training, and cultural and educational awareness. She has been a trainer of life skills coaches, an employment counselor, and most recently the practice placement coordinator and an employment facilitator with Camosun College.

Her graduate research in sociology focused on experiential education highlighting First Nations perspectives and her interests include cultural learning and sharing, travel and fitness. She teaches Free Wheel SPIN classes and enjoys hiking, biking and world music.
