Dr. Damali joined the Gustavson School of Business in July 2012. He received a doctorate degree in Management from Clemson University and an undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Middle East Technical University at Turkey. He has previously taught at Clemson University, the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Dr. Damali’s research focuses on service design and supply chain and operations management. His current research is investigating improving customers’ service participation through their training and education. He has previously examined coordination problems in the internal supply chain of surgical services and the application of lean practices to services. He has published research in Decision Sciences and other journals in the field.
