Peter B. Gustavson School of Business

Nav Bassi is the Chief Technology Officer for the Gustavson School of Business.  He is responsible for both tactical and strategic guidance regarding technology use at the school.  Nav joined the Gustavson School in February, 2011.

Nav entered UVic as a Computer Science student in the Faculty of Engineering in 1999 and first became an employee during a co-op work term at the Computer Help Desk. He became Help Desk Supervisor shortly before graduation, and moved into a Senior Technical Analyst role where he worked on a number of projects, leading to an interest in project management. He completed a Master’s Certificate in Project Management and earned the Project Management Professional credential in 2006. Nav is an alumnus of the Gustavson School of Business; he earned his MBA with a specialization in Service Management in 2010 and is also an active mentor in the Executive Mentorship Program.
