Rohit Bhatia, BCom '11 (General Management), is Business Development Manager at CloverPoint. CloverPoint is a GIS firm specializing in 2D/3D visualization. As Business Development Manager, his role is to develop new clients as well as build strategic partnerships with other firms. Rohit is also a partner in the two locations of Nando's Flame-Grilled Chicken, one located in Langford and the other Downtown Victoria. Nando's is a quick-service restaurant that serves an Afro-Portuguese genre of food, specializing in Peri-Peri Flame Grilled Chicken.  

Food brings people together.  Reggie Milligan, BCOM ’11, and BA’09 (English) Sandy Close’s new venture gathers strangers around the table to partake in the pleasures of communal dining.  The Social Feed targets 22-34 year old diners offering them a family style dining experience at local, independent restaurants for a flat fee.  The diners get to support local businesses, meet new people, and discover new food.  The Social Feed operates in Vancouver and Toronto. Robyn Plenert, BCOM '09, is a Marketing Coordinator for Transportation Investment Corporation.  TI Corp is a new Crown Corporation that was created to oversee the Port Mann Highway 1 Improvement Project.  One of her projects is launching a new brand and marketing campaign over the next year for the open road tolling system on the new Port Mann Bridge.  http://www.pmh1project.com/Pages/default.aspx

Shannon Ward, (nee Gallaugher), BCOM '01 is currently living in Vancouver and enjoying her position as Director, Recreation Business Development at Mustang Survival. As a leading manufacturer of marine life saving apparel, Mustang Survival recently launched its 2012 recreation product line, designed and manufactured critical safety equipment for the last NASA shuttle mission and is prototyping new products for crews on the Deadliest Catch.

Anatolijus Fouracre, BCOM '00, accepted a position with HP Enterprise Services Europe to lead delivery of Barclays Global Retail Banking, Western Europe account in Zaragoza, Spain in Nov. 2010.  He has responsibility for Barclays Bank call centres (500 staff) providing sales servicing and collections to European customers.  Anatolijus relocated to Spain with his family, where they are learning Spanish, traveling and enjoying the sunshine.

Lance Abercrombie, BCom '94  After graduating from UVIC, Lance obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in Vancouver and returned to Victoria in 1997.  Lance is a member of the Gustavson School of Business Board of Advisers and is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Victoria Hospital Foundation.
