What can I do with my graduate degree?

Did you know that according to Statistics Canada, in 2006 approximately 25% of Canadians held a University degree, and that only a fraction of that number held a Master’s or doctoral degree?

Even though the percentages of graduate degree holders are comparatively small, universities in Canada produce far more graduates than can be absorbed by the University system. It is therefore important that Graduate students get the most portable or transferrable skills they can from their University experience.

There are a number of different opportunities available for those with Graduate Degrees, but most fall into two areas:

Academic careers
Non-academic careers
