Research Information

Research Description

I am interested in the neurobiological mechanisms that underlie cognitive control, decision making and reinforcement learning in humans; related interests include the study of impulsivity, continuous motor control, and spatial navigation. To investigate these issues I adopt a variety of empirical and theoretical approaches including event-related brain potential, functional magnetic resonance imaging, computational modeling and genetics techniques, as well as experiments with atypical populations such as substance dependent individuals and children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
