Nursing ( Masters )
The UVic School of Nursing is dedicated to excellence in accessible and innovative undergraduate and graduate nursing education, research initiatives, and professional activities. The school is committed to generating knowledge, advancing the nursing profession and discipline, and enhancing nursing practice to improve health for individuals, families, community, and society. Through collaborative partnerships among educators, students, health practitioners, researchers, and policy developers, we strive to support health and social change. Our graduate education programs are based on a philosophical model that attends to coherence among and between ontological, epistemological, ethical, and practice dimensions. This model is fostered by values of openness, diversity, scholarship, and service related to human health. Our faculty are widely recognized for their contributions to the advancement of nursing as a scientific discipline and practice profession through research, leadership, practice, teaching, publications and presentations.
Applicants must also meet the general admission requirements for the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
