Neuroscience ( Doctorate )

The graduate program in neuroscience is offered by faculty appointed in several units of the university including Biology; Biochemistry and Microbiology; Psychology; School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education; and the Division of Medical Sciences. It is hosted by the Division of Medical Sciences and offers specialized training in neuroscience to students from a variety of backgrounds.


Prerequisite Minimum standing
MSc All applicants may apply for direct admission to the PhD program in neurosciences, but the preferred prerequisite is an honours or master's degree. A minimum GPA equivalent to 80% or higher in upper division science courses is required if you only have an undergraduate degree but wish to be directly admitted to the PhD program.

Applicants must also meet the general admission requirements for the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
