Haytham El Miligi - Electrical and Computer Engineering

Inspired by the engineering of the pyramids as a young man in his native Egypt, El-Miligi’s Doctoral research in Electrical and Computer Engineering explored the problem of creating multiprocessor-interconnects that help make computers and electronic devices more efficient. He has been awarded this year's Governor General's Gold Medal as the top PhD student across all faculties.
