Co-operative education

Co-op is extremely popular at UVic—42% of students take part, alternating terms in school with terms in paid positions related to their programs.

As a co-op student, you'll test drive possible career paths and learn how to successfully search for work. Plus, you'll earn close to $2,800 CAD per month and graduate with up to 16 months of work experience in your field.

Most UVic co-op programs are optional, which means you'll apply at the start of your second year. Other co-op programs are mandatory, meaning that you'll automatically participate as part of your degree.
