Living and eating on campus

We're striving to enhance the experiences of graduate students who see us as the perfect fit for their education.
UVic has lots to offer: a safe and inclusive campus, an abundance of green space, thoughtfully developed research facilities and a plugged-in community of students, faculty and staff who are willing to make their ideas count.
Our campus services and supports acknowledge the unique perspectives of graduate students.
Where you live matters. The type of housing you choose should reflect the way you want to live.
Choose a single or shared room in one of our 21 residence buildings or share a 4-bedroom apartment with 3 other students in one of the 123 cluster units.
Students with children will want to choose one of our 181 unfurnished apartments or townhouses in family housing. They're all within walking distance of the campus, child care and schools.
You can see what several of the residence room on campus look like with our 360-degree tours and if you're looking for your own place, we also offer assistance locating off-campus housing options.
To get the most from your mind, it's a good idea to keep your stomach happy. There are 15 food venues on campus to fit any mood or appetite, including vegetarian restaurants, bistros, a pub and grocery store. If you'll be living on campus, the residence dining site can fill you in on their meal card plans.
Explore all of your options below, from Village Greens vegetarian/vegan restaurant to Cap's Deli Pizzeria and Bistro. See a map of dining locations on campus.
