Since computer science developed out of mathematics, the two disciplines enjoy a strong relationship. Disciplines with strong background in both areas include bioinformatics, psychology, and the design of experiments in areas like human computer interaction.

This combined program lets you combine your interests in statistics and computer science. Although students are considered to be equally part of both Computer Science and Mathematics in this program, their "home" department will be Mathematics and Statistics.
