Engineering and Computer Science Programs

Computer Science and Physics ( Bachelor )

Students able to work in both physics and computer science can be found in labs, research facilities, video-game development companies, the entertainment industry, universities, government departments, and astronomical facilities around the world.

This combined program gives students the tools to look at how both nature and computer science/technology work. More importantly, they learn to combine problem-solving techniques from each discipline in the search for deeper understanding about both the physical and digital world.

The program in computer science and physics is an exciting one, with opportunities in fields as diverse as nuclear physics and particle accelerators to developing life-like graphic simulations for the entertainment industry.

Although students are considered to be equally part of both Computer Science and Physics in this combined program, their "home" department will be Physics.
