Transferring from another institution
Many students transfer to UVic from other institutions.
We make it easy to transfer
Whether you come here directly from another post-secondary institution, take a few years off, or go through a bridge program, it's easy to transfer to UVic Engineering.
Simply apply online and send in your transcripts. Within a few weeks you'll receive a transfer evaluation with a course-by-course description of how your credit transfers to UVic. Once you've been accepted, an academic advisor will provide hands-on assistance as you enrol in a Faculty of Engineering program.
Transfer credit into
Eligible transfer credit is normally assigned as part of the admission process. Transfer credit from BC colleges, International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs will be assigned according to the equivalencies set out in the BC Transfer Guide for the year in which the courses were completed. Associate degrees completed at a BC College are guaranteed 30 units of transfer credit.

The Engineering Bridge program takes six months to complete. You'll attend classes at Camosun's Interurban campus, then continue your studies at UVic. After two more years, including work terms, you?ll be graduating with an engineering degree and ready to make a difference in the world.
Spaces in all Bridge programs are limited and early applications are encouraged. Application forms are available from Camosun College and due Feb 15 every year for entry into the program starting the following June. Visit Camosun's Engineering Bridge site for more information.
