Support for students with a disability
Helping you succeed
UVic works hard to minimize barriers to the academic environment. The Resource Centre for Students With a Disability (RCSD) provides services and coordinates academic accommodations for students and instructors. They support students with a disability in achieving their academic goals and support faculty in their efforts to accommodate students. They RCSD also works with the university at large towards a more accessible learning environment.
The RCSD can help with things like:
- Assistive technology
- Learning assistance
- Campus accessibility
- Financial assistance
- Transition from high school
- Exam arrangements
