Graduate Supervisor
Finding a Graduate Supervisor is one of the most important academic decisions that MA and PhD students must make. Get advice and tips on finding the best possible Graduate Supervisor for you.
Courses offered
We offer a variety of intellectually stimulating courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Our graduate programs can be customized to fit your research areas, and our elective options allow you to pursue other areas of academic interest. Check out our programs and courses. For detailed course information, see the Academic Calendar.
TA and RA opportunities
We know that many of the students in our programs are interested in teaching and pursuing careers in academia. That's why we provide as many teaching apprenticeships and research assistantships as possible. These opportunities are a great way for students to earn money and gain valuable experience as they study. Labs for ED-D 101: Learning Strategies for University Success, an extremely popular undergraduate course offered by EPLS, is often taught by our graduate students. Check out Teaching & research opportunities for more information.
Awards and funding
There are various scholarships, bursaries, and employment opportunities available for EPLS students. Apply for bursaries and scholarships as early as possible, and continue to compete for awards, such as coveted SSHRC awards, throughout your academic career.
